CHARTS

Culture, Heritage & Arts
The CHARTS network was conceived through the desire to create a sustainable future for the Culture, Heritage and Arts sector in Argyll.
Why
A need to make a platform that artists from the Argyll and Islands region can communicate, collaborate, promote and inspire each other.
Challenge
Content is to be 90% user generated.
Solution
An easy to use platform due to user base and all stakeholders are dependant upon volunteers.

Interviews
To understand the real problems and pain points, we conducted user interviews. We interviewed 5 people, spending approx 15 mins each.
Insight 01
Learning what worked well on the old system and importantly what needed more attention to improve.
Insight 02
Users have different needs that are important to them. For some it’s hosting an event, promoting their work and others it’s collaborating.
Insight 03
Various levels of confidence with technology that needs to be catered for because the content is user generated.

Ideation
Identifying areas that may be more challenging and working with the team to quickly solve problems. Hand sketches help to quickly generate discussion points.
